The PriorSpec II is a compact, portable fiber optic inspection microscope that makes it easy for you to inspect of fiber optic connectors in the field.

This quality inspection microscope is available in 200X or 400X models. This fiber optic microscope incorporates a precision adjustable centering mechanism that permits scrolling of the fiber endface and gives you with the ability to view and analyze multiple optical fibers.

The PirorSpec II is designed as a folded beam' optical system, which consists of all glass optics including an achromatic objective and widefield eyepiece that provides you with a high quality optical image of your connector endface. In addition, a laser barrier filter is built directly into the unit, providing you with viewing safety.
Utilizing an universal fiber optic adapter mount, the PriorSpec II can accommodate virtually any fiber optic connector that you may need to inspect. The PriorSpec II incorporates a new and innovative LED illumination system with microprocessor control which provides constant illumination, resulting in an extended battery life and improved light quality. A longer battery life plus a low battery warning display means that you will have to make fewer battery changes and incur less downtime.
